Groups/Weddings
Emandal is the perfect site for a group or organization sponsored event... a musical celebration, a company retreat, an enlightening workshop, a birding expedition, family reunion, meditation or writing get-away, etc.
Lodging Options for Groups: We have 19 redwood cabins in the camp area on the oak and fir clad hills. Most were built by Al Byrnes between 1915 and 1925. The rest were constructed in the 1990s by Clive Adams. Each cabin is furnished with beds, cold spring water and electricity. (Bed and bath linens can be included.) A hammock is generally found adjacent or nearby. Bathrooms and shower facilities are located in the camp area. Comfortable capacity is 64 people. The farm house has three (3) all-season private rooms, each of which has a queen size bed, and its own bathroom.
Meal Options: Depending upon your group's needs, you can select a full meal package (3 meals a day) or a partial meal package (1 or 2 meals a day).
Length of Stay: Two to five night stays can be arranged.
Prices: Pricing varies according to time of year, number of participants, and the meal and lodging options you need.
Weddings....PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT HAVE ANY DATES AVAILABLE FOR WEDDINGS IN 2012.
Emandal offers couples a unique destination wedding experience in a casual, natural setting. A wedding celebration becomes a weekend getaway with family and friends in a relaxed atmosphere.
Rustic cabins nestled in fir and oak covered hills provide cozy lodging for groups up to 64 people. The wedding event will be remembered for its lazy afternoon swims in the river, impromptu talent shows on the camp stage, and nights around the campfire.
Tamara and her staff craft meals from our farm fresh organic ingredients, including seasonal vegetables and fruits, farm raised meats and dairy, farm roasted coffees, homemade breads, jams, and syrups. With our assistance, the couple may be part of selecting menus for just the wedding meal or the entire weekend event.
The choice of ceremony location is left to the couple. Emandal has manicured lawn and garden areas or natural settings, all offering beautiful garden, mountain, lake, or river views.
Flowers, both cultivated and wild, are a large part of what make Emandal so lovely. Fresh bouquets decorate all guest lodging and dining spaces. Farm flower table arrangements, ceremony bouquets and boutonnieres can be provided upon request (subject to availability of flower and color selections).
