• Since Covid, most reservations have been for groups of friends/relations, since the camp kitchens are shared. However, this year, we plan to take individual families in camp anytime from August 3-9. Kitchens will be shared with other families. Otherwise, we suggest the Bunkhouse.

    1. Most groups reserve for four nights, but more are opting for 5-6.  The minimum is a 3 night stay.

    1. If your group has booked a four night stay, and you are only able to come for three nights, we’ll charge you for the three nights, but add on a “cabin fee” for the night you can’t be here since we can’t sell your cabin to anyone else.

    1. If most of the family is coming for the full session, but one person can’t make it the whole time, we’ll pro-rate his/her stay.

  • I, personally, won’t be serving 3 meals per day during Family Camp. Once I’m not here, or someone comes along with youthful energy and drive, it could happen! It was a grand era, but times have changed.

    1. We’re adding in Saturday Night Pizza this year!  It’s included in the fee structure

  • Mostly, your food. We provide pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils, rags, towels, and various and sundry items. If there’s something needed that isn’t there, we can probably find it in our big kitchen for you.

  • Preferably, you will bring an ice chest packed with your food and frozen blocks of ice. We have crushed ice (not efficient) and frozen containers of ice, that you may trade out with your own. Our ice is for replenishing, not for original packing.

If you need to borrow an ice chest, let us know before you arrive.

  • We have 8’x8’x10’ metal containers with sturdy doors in each camp kitchen. All food and drinks are to be kept inside.

  • We collect garbage and compost daily, so that bears, raccoons, squirrels, ants and flies aren’t readily tempted.

  • PLEASE don’t bring paper plates, plastic cups and utensils, unless YOU want to haul them out of here when you go. We provide washable eating apparatus, etc. It’s part of our “save the planet for the future” ethos.

It’s up to us to haul garbage out, so think, “less is more!”

We’ll send a confirmation and eventually, an invoice.

  • I don’t like the administrative side of business, so I try not to take money until closer to the time of your arrival. If you cancel 14 days prior to the beginning of your session, we will re-schedule your stay for the 2026 or 2027 season. If you cancel 7 days prior to the beginning of your session, you will forfeit your fee.
