Brief Workshop Description This is a fun class with no patterns or difficult techniques, and it’s appropriate for all levels.. You will create your own ‘art quilt’ collage of a subject of your choice, and either glue or sew it together.

Levels of Experience Beginner through advanced quilter- it’s basically private lessons in a small group setting.

Additional Supplies Participants Must Bring to Workshop

*loads of fabric that might work with your project- both yardage and scraps

*tulle (if you are going to sew your piece together)

*some kind of batting for your quilt

*photos of your chosen subject matter (or you can take photos on your phone at Emandal

*scissors that will cut fabric

*thin straight pins- LOTS

*glue sticks

*your sewing machine with ALL of it’s bobbins, feet, parts and cables (if you are going to sew)

*threads for sewing

*needles if you are going to hand sew

*any embellishments, yarns, trims etc that you might want

*dark chocolate to share

** I will bring both tulle and batting for students to purchase if necessary, plus a cutting mat with cutter, an iron and ironing board
